  Nice and friendly staff, the decoration of the hotel is mixed and twisted between oriental and modern design! It is a cool place

  The place is simply awesome, beautiful, clean, so much worth for the money we paid. When one travels it's not always about the money actually, it is more about the hospitality one receives, the friends that we make on our journey and the warmth that one receives. The same warmth that a person still embodies when back in home country. The guest house owner, Mr. Hisham, is doing such a great job, he is one gem of a person and the same reflects in the place Damask Rose which he has so beautifully maintained. Kudos to the generous staff which even let us into their kitchen and help us made 'the tea' just the way we wanted it to be..the Indian Style :) :). They made sure that we are well catered to..since it was Christmas time and we missed our families too...they just made sure to provide us the perfect homely environment...the perfect food which one deserves on a holiday and during the festivities. We still remember the Christmas eve feast, the wine, and the delicious food (Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian both). I simply have all the positive things to say about this place. Me and my husband both of us, are so so happy that we chose this place for our stay in Beirut, Lebanon. We will anytime prefer to stay in Damask Rose over any 5 star hotel, if we ever get a chance to visit Beirut again. To top all of it, the place is very close to many of the places to visit in Beirut especially the jaw dropping Jeita Grotto. Damask Rose is strategically located so as to make it easy to reach and well connected to the highway which makes it all the more easier to visit places like Cedars Mountains, Farraya Mountains and Baalbek. I wish Damask Rose and the hotel owner, who is now our dear friend from Lebanon, all the very best. Rise and Shine!! P.S. : Lots of love to the guest house staff for being such amazing people. :) :)

  Le charme opère à l'entrée de cette maison, Les chambres sont propres spacieuses et joliment rénovées! L'acceuil est agréable ! Un grand merci pour le Sahlab !

  Fantastic stay at Damask Rose. In addition to comfortable beds, the beautiful fountain at the center of the guest house is full of roses! Lovely way to start our days here. The manager , provided us with very interesting daily tours of this wonderful country.

  We had a GREAT time at the Damask Rose!! The premises are wonderful with a true Middle Eastern ambience, the people are helpful to the max, the bed is very comfortable with high quality linens and the price is right. We recommend it highly. I am very much looking forward to my next visit.
