The building itself is really nice for Lebanon (however, the rent is really overpriced. It's Beirut, for goodness sake, not Dubai, London or New York City 🙄.) The building's management, however, is very unprofessional and incompetent. The managers are rude snobs, most of the employees are rude, dishonest and inconsiderate. They take your money and impose all these rules on you (that barely any of the tenants in the building even follow) then give you terrible customer service in return (not surprising in Lebanon, of course.) The whole time, most of the building's employees treated me like I was a burden and most of them (especially the managers) talked down at me like I was some idiotic, mentally deluded spoiled brat (I was a 24 year old woman at the time that had lost her patience for receiving such terrible service for such overpriced rental fees.) The building is supposedly a non-smoking one but I could smell smoke in the hallway. I even heard a neighbor having a loud "private time" with a man even though it is strictly stipulated in the rules that I was given that you are NOT allowed to bring people into your apartment. The housekeepers even tried accusing me of using cocaine because they saw baby powder on the floor (I sprinkle baby powder in my shoes to keep them smelling fresh) and why on earth would I leave cocaine on the floor in plain sight of anyone who entered my room?!! Almost every single employee in the building were determined in proving me to be some idiotic, crazy, drug-addicted, alcoholic, jealous sex-fiend from the moment I set foot in that building even though it was SO OBVIOUS I was nothing of the sort. What kind of a person would be stupid enough to practice the usage of cocaine in an apartment building with tight security that is mostly meant for university students?!! The managers went so far as to accuse me of being paranoid and indirectly implied I was lying when I told them about the many bad things that were going on in the building from other tenants and the dishonest LAZY employees. They thought they were being smart by turning it around on me until I called the authorities on them. The lady manager even thought I was JEALOUS and wanted a boyfriend because I complained about a much OLDER female tenant that lived across me having a loud intimate private time with a guy that looked young enough to be a university student (I was able to know that because he left her apartment at some point as I was entering mine.) I was honestly disgusted and embarasssed to have heard my neighbor having intimate relations as it is something that should be very PRIVATE. It's a shame the management and employees are so unprofessional, dishonest, rude, obnoxious and, quite frankly, INSANE, considering the building is a nice one in a good location for Beirut. Please don't spend your money on people who don't deserve it.
