  This is one of the main bus 'stops' in Beirut. Buses definitely go up the coast to Tripoli (and many stops between), and I believe the south and Balbek too. It's a little muddled so just say your destination to each driver (small white minivans) and they'll let you know if they will be stopping there.

  No se puede llamar estación, es un cruce de calles donde se amontonan furgonetas particulares sin horarios ni taquilla. Preguntas por un destino y te indican a qué furgoneta ir. Poco fiable, solo para aventureros sin prisas, pero toda una experiencia.
